Our Mission

  • To implement the Barbados Programme of Action (BPOA) in support of the sustainable development of Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
  • Achieve the goals and targets set in the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)
  • Address the national and pressing problems of preparing the world or challenges of today and of the next century

    Objectives of EPCO

    The main objective of EPCO is to improve the conservation of biodiversity through educational, scientific, management and training programme.

    Other objectives are:

  • To improve the quality of life of the local community through management and conservation of natural resources.
  • To ensure that the natural environment is used wisely and continues to be available for the benefit and enjoyment of future generations.
  • To decrease vulnerability and improve adaptation capacity among poor local communities associated with Climate Change
