Beach monitoring exercise carried out at Butte a L’Herbe and Mont Choisy Public Beach- Mauritius, showed minor changes in the beach profile.
“Halting the Snail Trail of Destruction”, funded by DCP (De-centralised Cooperation Programme) / 9th European Union Fund, was successfully implemented at La Porte Providence- Flacq. Alien snail population has been suppressed to an acceptable level, for the benefit of the Taro growers community.
